What is www.frasercoastjobs.com.au?
Fraser Coast Jobs (www.frasercoastjobs.com.au) is a website developed by Fraser Coat Regional Council to link people who want to work in the Fraser Coast and Fraser Coast's Employers seeking staff. It provides information on opportunities on the Fraser Coast for job seekers, employers and businesses looking to expand or relocate to the Fraser Coast.

Why Fraser Coast Jobs?
It is a free service specifically dedicated to employment in the Fraser Coast, with the latest in employment opportunities and employment news on the Fraser Coast. It was developed to help businesses find quality staff and to help skilled jobseekers from across the country who are interested in relocating to the Fraser Coast and find employment. As such it is a valuable tool in helping to reduce the skill shortage on the Fraser Coast.

What does the "Refresh My Data" from the User Menu do?
In the unlikely event that you open an item for editing, for example updating your profile and your network fails or the server network fails to complete a command, that item may be locked out from the database preventing further editing or saving. In this case you could use the "Refresh My Data" link to return all your open items to the database and thus enable you to continue editing.
What is the Registration Process?

If you have not registered before, you'll need to complete the Registration Form .
In any field marked "This Field is visible on profile" only supply information that you wish to be displayed to the general public.
To help protect your privacy, you can enter just your initials in any of the required fields or sections.
Once you have completed all the required fields in the form, an Email will be sent to the email address you supply asking for confirmation of your registration with instructions on how to complete the registration process. After registration is confirmed you will be able to login to the site and access user accessible functions.

How do I request a connection with another user?
To request a connection with another user simply view to users Profile, at the top of the profile you will see a menu item called "Connections". Hovering your cursor over the menu item will reveal a sub menu, move your cursor down and click "Request Connection". The other user will then receive notification via email and has the opportunity to accept or reject your connection request.
I've logged in but can't see all the User Menu, whats happened?
Your subscription to the site has more than likely expired.  To renew your subscription, Login as normal and then select "My Subscription" from the user menu, this will show the status of your subscription and give you the opportunity to renew your subscription.
How long do my details stay online for?
Your details will remain on the system for six months, you will be invited by email to renew your details. If you do not log into the system and renew, your details will be deleted automatically.
Can I update my details?
You can update all your details as often as you need to. The only detail you cannot change is your username.
I have not recieved my confirmation email, what happened?
If you don't find the email, please check your spam-box, if found ensure you mark emails from HB Jobs as "Not Spam" If the confirmation was deleted as spam, just try logging in again to receive a new instructions via the email your registered with. Also, in some cases free email accounts such as hotmail, yahoo etc... have been known to fail, this is an issue with the email provider not proccessig the email for delivery, not the website sending it.
What if I lose my password or user name?
If you lose your password, you can use the ‘Lost Password’ option on the login screen to have it emailed to you. If you have forgotten your user name, you will need to email Fraser Coast Jobs using the link on the ‘Contact Us ’ page.
I can't see any of the options to view as a logged in member.
This could be a cache setting on the users own computer, where the computer saves a previously visited page or pages and tries loading them from memory.  Sometimes in these cases the page displayed has expired and therefore only partly generates. If so, this is not a problem with the website but a browser setting on the users computer.  Try clearing your browsers cache then try to reload or refresh the page.

How do I make my account inactive so others can not see my details?
Firstly you'll need to login, then from the User Menu select "View or Update My Profile" When the profile page loads click "Edit" button. Next select the "User Type" tab and change Account Active to No, Then select the "Update" button to save. Selecting NO will make your account profile invisible to other users but does not cancel your registration status.
